The creation of these images starts by first drawing two human figures with Tetris-like blocks and randomly choose the type and position of their arms and legs. The two figures are hidden. Next I collect all the points on every corner of the hidden shapes. After that I connect all these points with a line in such a way that the line passes only once through each point.
The shapes formed by the crossing lines are filled with a color.
Finally two circles are added.
The sketch is set in a three dimensional space so I can play with the lighting.
A lot goes wrong and I don’t yet understand completely what really happens. All I know is that I spend hours generating new results, fascinated by what appears on my screen.
Here is a selection of 36 ghostly scenes: two circles and a mess of shapes. The original idea for this sketch is based on some works I made in 2016. It’s also more or less the same set of instructions I used for a series of wall drawings in 2019-2021.
