I created this image by pushing keys on my keyboard and clicking and moving my mouse over the screen. Some keys provoke random actions, some are very well defined like change the scale, transparency, hide or show only a border etc...
This print is the final image in a video and has the proportions of a video screen. The computer animation (made with Processing) that produces this image is set up in such a way that every step is immediately recorded. The video and the print are not edited anymore afterwards. The video has no sound and includes the time when I am just thinking and not tapping keys or clicking the mouse. I find these moments when nothing happens interesting. Time in the recorded video is slowed down. The video reveals in slow motion everything I did and stops when I thought the image seemed to have something worthwhile to keep/print.
